Pumpkin
Cheese Pie
Ingredients:
1 - 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
1 - 16 oz. can pumpkin
1 teaspoon vanilla
Pecan halves (optional)
1 9-inch pie crust, unbaked
Directions:
Beat cream cheese until fluffy, gradually adding sugar combined
with spices. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after
each. Beat in pumpkin and vanilla. Pour into prepared shell.
Bake in preheated 350º oven for 40 minutes or until
knife inserted comes out clean. During last 15 minutes of
baking, pecan halves may be placed on top as decoration.
Chill before serving. Serves 8-10
